My Students

My students learn best with the use of manipulatives. Their ages range between 6-7. They enjoying manipulating resources and reading for information. They possess different learning styles, but standing out among them is the need to touch and or do to learn.

My Project

The materials I am requesting will be used both at home and at school.

The books will provide a variety of levels for my students to read and enjoy independently in class and at home- they will also be useful during guided reading.

The Number line materials will help students to learn skip counting, addition and subtraction. The clock and telling time cards helps students with solving time in small groups. The addition and subtraction cards will help students with problem solving in their small groups at center time and also to develop a sense of independence while I am working with other students. The magnetic Dienes Blocks will help me to demonstrate for my students easily.
