Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I teach students who have severe and profile intellectual and physical disabilities. I am constantly looking for manipulative to improve my instruction and their learning.

We use an adapted standard based curriculum daily for math, science, reading and social studies.

The items I am requesting will help improve my instruction in the areas of reading in math.

My students are nonverbal and non-readers. Manipulatives are essential for instruction in my classroom. My students learn through verbal prompting ,physical prompting and gestures. I want to make learning meaningful for my students. Please help bring this project to life.
