My Students

Math with OSMOs would be so great! We were fortunate to get 4 OSMOs for our Media Center this fall. When we first ordered the OSMOs, the Numbers set was not part of the package!

We are a Title I, STEAM school.

In the Media Center we have a very unique schedule where over the course of 6 weeks we see every k-5 student in the building for a total of about 5 hours. During this time we try to incorporate all the aspects of STEAM into engaging learning centers for the students.

My Project

At the beginning of the school year we were fortunate enough to acquire 4 OSMO learning tools to use with iPads. When we ordered the systems the numbers game was not yet out. We would like to use the OSMO math game to help our students with their number sense and basic math skills. We have seen engagement with the Words and Tangram games and know that Numbers will have the same effect on our children.

By have engaging hands on materials available to students we can see better math concepts being developed.

When we have the OSMO Numbers game available to our students we will anticipate seeing excitement around working with numbers.
