My Project

Number the Stars is a great book to study with students. This Novel starts important conversations that help students learn about our world through history and find a connection to characters, building empathy in their own lives.

We do several novel studies throughout the year, but like to start with this one.

It's a shorter novel that helps build student confidence in their ability to read. We use it to develop their reading comprehension, in writing summaries, and understanding story elements.

Over the years, we've enjoyed this novel. But, our current sets are tattered and need replacing.
