My Project
These elementary students all choose to be at Number Ninjas and want to better their math skills! In number ninjas we put an emphasis on learning multiplication facts in a rapid amount of time. With each passing test the students earn a corresponding belt that matches their level.
The overall goal is to reach black belt status by learning ALL your multiplication facts in 1 min.
During our practices each month we focus on a new skill that is higher level thinking. We may focus on multi number multiplication, long division, prime & composite numbers, fractions, algebra, and order of operations. We have fun games and team work activities we do each week as well.
At the end of each month the students in their teams will compete against each other in a challenge that will be focused on the skill we have been practicing all month. Winners get a chance to earn some of the ninja themed prizes and get their picture posted to our Ninja wall and social media.
