My Project
We are finally beginning to know the letters in our name, but numbers are tricky!
Popping the numbers will entice some of the children that are not interested in numbers to come to the center.
We will roll a die and have the children pop the numbers to count using 1-1 correspondence. The links will be used to create a center on our large carpet. The links can be hooked to the wall. Then the child will roll a die to show how many links they will add to the chain. I will challenge the kids to make the chain reach across the carpet, then across the room!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
