This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My school is based in a low-socio economic community and sometimes struggle to get all the supplies necessary to help support our students' education. My goal is to be able to provide all these supplies so that students do not need to go out of their way to purchase these essentials.
In our math class, we’ll be using paper primarily for printouts and copies, which are essential for practice and assignments.
Additionally, crayons and markers are not just for decoration—they’re key tools for fostering creativity in our math activities. Whether it’s coloring diagrams to better understand geometric shapes or using vibrant colors to visualize complex equations, these supplies help make math both engaging and enjoyable.
In addition, to keep our classroom organized and ensure that every student's work is safely stored, we need dedicated storage solutions. This will allow us to neatly organize and archive all assignments, projects, and important papers, making it easy to track progress and review work when needed. Effective storage not only helps in maintaining a clutter-free environment but also ensures that each student’s efforts are preserved and accessible for future reference. Investing in good storage will help us create a more efficient and organized learning space for everyone.
