My Project

Children must be exposed to letters early and often to help with letter recognition. Once they know how to recognize each letter of the alphabet and its corresponding sound, they can then begin the important work of recognizing whole words and their sounds – both crucial elements to building essential literacy skills.

Games are wonderful way to teach students about letters and sounds, both visually and verbally.

Kindergarten students love to learn in a multitude of ways.

The class set of headphones will allow my students to play various computer learning games, without disturbing their table partners. The bean bags, file folder games and alphabet stickers will facilitate student learning through play.
