Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are in Pre-K and they learn through playing and pretending, using visuals, books, and moving around.

My students are 4 and 5 year olds, they speak English and Spanish and they are happy kids who love coming to school to learn.

This is my first year in this classroom and I'm in need of a lot of material to create centers for literacy and math so my kids can engage in educational games. If my project gets funded, I plan to use the materials in the classroom by integrating the math and literacy centers into my actual centers, by using the puzzles in other centers that help develop fine motor skills and problem solving, and by using the circle time display in our morning lesson to display the number and letter of the week.
