My Students

My students attend an inner-city school whose student body is diverse, both academically and socioeconomically.

I want to be able to see all of my students' beautiful faces while doing synchronous teaching.

These are unprecedented times, most (if not all) learning will be done remotely (both synchronous and asynchronous) in our district.

My Project

While teaching synchronously it is difficult to see all of the students on the screen, keep up with chat AND present the class while still sharing content from my screen.

This large monitor will allow me to put all of their tiles and the chatbox on a separate monitor, which will allow me to see their beautiful faces.

Being able to see their faces is important for building relationships with the students and being able to see the chatbox is really important because many students don't feel comfortable asking questions to the group, but will ask in the chat. It is another way to get the students engaged in class.
