My Project
If you have ever been curious to see what actually goes into a classroom - look no further!
I am seeking donations to supply my seventh grade classroom with headphones while providing equitable educational opportunities.
We need a lot in the classroom, especially when you are a Title One school trying to crawl out of the educational issues that happened due to the pandemic. I want to give my students two main things when they come into my ELA class everyday:
(1) headphones to hear videos and games when doing independent work and (2) a teacher who isn't stressed about having enough items for all of his students to learn with.
I am asking for materials that will help my classroom thrive. We need headphones to hear the video lessons and listen to the activities we complete in class. Some students have it in their Individualized Education Plan that tests and directions are read to them. Recording the directions and having them listen to it would make it easier for me to fulfill that requirement. Some students learn better when listening to music. Also some of our most important state tests have listening portions so this would help students with those sections of the test.
These materials will be used for next school year, which will be my third year teaching at Hoech Middle School in Ritenour!
