Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We are a Title One school. Our second graders come to school every day with big smiles on their faces, ready to start the day in a positive way, and eager to learn. We serve students from low income and multicultural/bilingual homes. Most of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. They are eager to learn in a safe environment. Our goal is to provide our students with a positive academic experience which will have a great impact on their futures.
These kids did an excellent job this school year and they deserve to be rewarded.
This project will provide each student in my class with a bucket and shovel, a jump rope, a big bubble wands, a cup with straw, a flying disc toy, and a toss and catch game to take home on the last day of school. I will also include a note from me congratulating them on all their progress and wishing them a fabulous, fun summer!
