Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our students are currently facing the challenge of preparing for the ACT and SAT standardized tests. They do not have the means to attend expensive test prep seminars, so I want to provide them with SAT/ACT prep novels so they can prepare for these daunting tests!

Our students are fantastic!

They attend a Title 1 public charter in Ohio and most will be first generation college students in the near future. They are eager to go to college and make a better life for themselves doing something they love, while supporting themselves and their families!

My Project

I am specifically requesting 25 SAT/ACT prep novels so that I can help prepare students to take the SAT and ACT standardized tests. The only thing standing in their way to getting into the college of their dreams are these two tests and without funding for expensive prep curriculum these novels provide an exiting and less daunting approach to mastering ACT/SAT vocabulary.

You have the opportunity to literally make a difference in first generation college students' lives--if they do well on these tests based on your donations they will have the opportunity to attend the college of their choosing thus, giving them the opportunity to live their dreams and hopefully one day, also give back!
