This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My class is called Reading Acceleration and is designed to support struggling readers in our middle school. It is an incredibly important class because once students learn the skills to read at grade level, they earn better grades, perform stronger on assessments, and have a reduction in negative behaviors at school.

We need more novel options at my student's current level to increase their reading engagement!

These are high interest books that my students would love reading! I want to ensure they have enough novels at their level to help get them excited about reading!
