My Students

My students come to school brimming with new ideas each day. They are eager to learn and happy to please. I believe that they are just beginning to tap into their full potential.

My students are bright and ready to make our world a better and more beautiful place.

On any given day, you will find them engaged in many different ways. Whether it is a math game, creating Ozobot paths, or diving into a good book, these kids love all types of experiences to help them understand and improve the world we live in.

My Project

This year, my goal as a teacher was to provide my students with historical fiction, which closely tied into our social studies curriculum.

The Sign of the Beaver written by Elizabeth George Speare and Ben and Me written by Robert Lawson are two fantastic novels that are both high interest and cleverly connected to historical times.

Our class has been blessed with several copies of these books; however, more are needed in order to create full class sets so that everyone can have their own copies.

With only 18 more copies, we will have one book in the hand of each student.
