My Students

I have an amazing fifth grade class! However, several of my higher readers have read everything I've provided them.

My students are a high-achieving fifth grade class at an urban charter school.

I have 22/25 reading on grade level and am very excited to enrich and challenge these little smarties this year. However, in order to do this, I need more novels and literature to push them further in their learning adventure.

My Project

The resources I am requesting are literature-based novels. I have chosen several graphic novels for my male students, lots of historical fiction for my females and history buffs, and some amazing Shel Silverstein poetry too. The books will be used during small groups and are needed in multi-copies.

My project is vital to the learning of 25 fifth graders.

Finding interesting literature, providing my educational expertise, and getting the students interested in reading is my ultimate goal. I need your help to provide the resources and then my students will be on their way to reading success for a lifetime!
