This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are true readers! They love stories, they're curious, and every classic is new to them. This project can help deliver high quality books that my students will long remember.

What reading experiences do you cherish?

How did you feel in that moment you finished the last page? Were you restless, melancholy, or completely lost in thought? Which characters left you just a little bit heartbroken to say farewell? These are the reading experiences I crave for my middle school students.

My Project

I've found great success introducing classic novels to a group of young readers simultaneously. With several copies of books like "Anne of Green Gables" students will explore a coming-of-age story that challenges them as readers.

Help my students discover a kindred spirit in Anne and the selflessness of Frodo Baggins.

Anne's story is timeless and so are the tales of Middle-Earth. With a couple contemporary classics and award-winning titles sprinkled in, this project is sure to delight my young book lovers.

I hope to inspire discussion and enjoyment of classic literature. This project includes novels that are very challenging, yet rewarding. Indeed, these are the stories that linger in the readers imagination long after the final page. There are no Diary of the Wimpy Kid books here!
