This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to learn and read. I want to continue to enrich their love of learning by providing each student with a copy of "Kidnapped in Key West" so that we can have a novel study. During the Novel Study they will explore and learn the history of Key West.
At the end of the school year they will go on a trip to Key West.
This Novel Study will be an amazing way to build their background knowledge before going on the field trip. My goal is for them to be able to make real life connections.
