My Project
Our class will use this novel to end our school year with a novel study. We will incorporate all of our comprehension skills learned throughout the year and read this book together as a culminating activity.
I want to challenge my third graders with a higher level chapter book that will engage them in conversations and celebrate moving on to fourth grade with strong reading skills.
My goal is for students to use skills such as metacognition, questioning, making predictions, and inferences. I have planned a novel study lesson to go along with the story as well as discussion questions the author incorporates in the book as we go along. Talking about a book can make reading more enjoyable. Thank you for your support!
