Novel Sets in a 5th Grade Class

The fiction books in this project celebrate diverse perspectives, helping students see themselves and others reflected in the stories they read. By connecting reading with science curriculum and promoting representation through literature, this project fosters both academic growth and empathy—giving students the tools to explore the world and their place in it.
