Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are in need of more snacks to make it through the remainder of the year. Some of the students I serve do not have snacks or food at home. Food can foster a positive relationship between teachers and students as well as a reward for succeeding in their work. Snacks such as those in the Healthy Snacks To Go pack and Rice Krispie treats will ensure my students have the energy needed to participate, complete assignments, and focus during the day.

Rainbow Scratch Paper is a lifesaver.

This helps students socially and emotionally. Rainbow Scratch paper is basically "magic" type paper to students, it looks black but as you use the scratch pen and scratch the paper it turns into rainbow colors. This is a very soothing activity for many of the students especially if there are negative factors.
