This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each of my students has a different passion for learning, making them a vibrant and diverse group. They enter our classroom each day full of resilience and curiosity, creating a lively center for learning. The goal of this project is to nourish their bodies and minds with nutritious snacks so they can learn effectively and have the energy and focus they require. By providing wholesome snacks, we meet an essential need: maintaining focus and energy. These snacks will help break down the barrier of hunger, which often prevents children from focusing well and preventing them from participating completely in their classes. Additionally, this initiative offers an excellent practical lesson in food and a balanced lifestyle.

Our main objective is to reduce hunger while students are in class in order to increase academic engagement.

We anticipate increased focus, engagement, and general wellbeing in our classroom as a result of this. Every student in my class contributes unique attributes to our classroom community. Their combined energy, imagination, and friendliness make a welcoming environment. Their exceptional empathy and openness to learning new ideas make our classroom a fun place to study. We recognize and meet their basic requirements by giving them these snacks, which is essential to their general growth and academic achievement. This project aims to feed them, but it also aims to convey that we are concerned about their overall welfare and support their growth in every aspect of life.
