Nourishing Minds Create Protest Poems to Read Out Loud

Help me give my students In our poetry out loud class we are reading and listening to poetry being read by poets, so we need headphones. Class gets hungry last period, so snacks are appreciated. Books nourish minds.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The products that I have selected will help my students by allowing them to listen to protest poetry out loud on the headphones. These will be extremely beneficial for students as they can listen to different protest poems. The books are for another student option for enrichment. Students can read and write their own original poems that will be read out loud in a celebration. The snacks will help to keep students focused at the end of the day when we meet. I have seen how much students grow and love poetry when they can listen to it being read by poets. I hope to encourage this kind of growth in our classes!
