Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Students are growing and learning each day. Sadly, school lunches have increased in price and our social work team is dedicated to serving our students each and every day. We are aiming to house snacks in each classroom, so students can still learn, grow, and thrive. Snacks are important for students who may not know when their next meal will be, so it's vital we create a learning environment that is supportive and safe for students. We are also ordering pencils and expo markers to support our students to have sensory support during class time.
