Nourish the Brain!

Help me give my students essential snacks such Horizon organic low-fat milk, skinnypop and others to help nourish their body as the weather get warmer.

My Project

Help me give these essential food items to my students to get them throughout the day. Many of my students comes from low-income families or in shelters where the proper nutrient is not being provided to them. By providing my students with fruit juices, cereal bars and more is fundamental in getting them throughout the day. Once students have the proper nourishment needed they then to exhibit fewer behavior rates and are more engaged in the classroom. It is difficult for student to learn on an empty stomach, having a variety of healthy snacks and drinks available within my classroom will give m students the edge to stay focus on what is important instead of worrying about hunger.

Providing my students with meals is important to their growth and development.

When students feel good about themselves physically, they are more likely to feel good about themselves mentally as well. By providing them with these snacks and drinks we are helping them thrive academically, emotionally and physically.

Having access to these health foods and snacks is crucial for my students health and well-being, because good nutrition supports optimum brain function and focus, providing students with the best opportunity to succeed.
