My Students
Our school thrives in a small, rural community. We are blessed to have approximately 250-300 elementary students learning new things within our walls. The rural setting has so many benefits that make teaching more enjoyable! We love to be active and move around as much as possible!
Our students thrive in our school and community.
They have an insatiable desire for discovering new things and reaching higher amounts of potential. As teachers, we want to provide as many opportunities for our students to succeed as we can. For that to happen we will need more resources and various literary titles to add to our language arts curriculum.
My Project
My students have a lot to focus on in 2nd grade. Our attention is pulled in every direction all throughout the day. For those students in my class who struggle with ADHD issues this can be a nightmare!
We need 4 iPads and a 10 Port Charging Station to allow brain breaks and to help keep my students focused.
By having iPads available in class to use when finished with an assignment my hope is to alleviate some of my students with ADHD pent up energy and let them focus on a reward for a job well done on their assignments. These can also be used for various other class assignments, rewards and testing too!
