Nothing Beats a Flexible Seat

Help me give my students flexible seating. These bean bag chairs and floor seats will help my students feel more comfortable during reading and small group discussions. These also allow for choice and give opportunities for differentiated seating.

My Project

My scholars love coming to my classroom each day and are eager to learn. My scholars are gifted and talented in all different areas, and no two are alike. I have several siblings, and most are as different as night and day in their learning approach and thinking. Almost every one of them participates in the free or reduced lunch program.

My school is a high-need Title I campus, and we just don't have the funds to give the students options for flexible seating besides tables and chairs.

We are thankful for what we have, but I would love for my scholars to be able to come to class and choose a flexible seating option, like a floor seat or a bean bag. I would love for each one to be able to select a place to sit where they feel like they can learn their best. Flexible seating has also been shown to improve attention and focus, which many gifted students struggle with at times.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
