This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are trying to level the playing field. Many children's families in our high school are unable to afford school supplies and toiletries. Project Benevolence aims to meet this need (with your help).
Project Benevolence would like to provide notebooks, highlighters, pens, and sticky notes to kids who need them.
We have already distributed many of these supplies and covered most of the children in the program. Unfortunately, during the school year, the need for these items grows as kids use them and more kids join the Project Benevolence program. We are hoping with your help, we can meet this continued need. We currently have students who have requested additional notebooks for new semester classes that we are unable to provide.
