Notebooks for New Scientists!

Help me give my students new notebooks. Science is a class with many facts and notes. My students use notebooks to become scientists. They take notes, draw pictures, graph items, write conclusions and so much more.

My Students

My students come to school with a lot on their minds. They come in hungry, tired and insecure about what the day will bring. School is a safe place for them.

School is where they learn social skills, learn right from wrong and learn that there are people out there who care for them.

All of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Some of our students come to school at 7 am and stay until 6 pm. Even with all this baggage my students are the most caring, most loving and most helpful kids I know.

My Project

My students use notebooks in science class for vocabulary, taking notes, lab write-ups, making hypothesis and conclusions, drawing out lab constructions and many, many more things. Students use the notebooks as references during the entire unit. They can refer to their notebooks any time they need help with a lab or a forgotten meaning. It is also an organizational tool that all middle schoolers need! All of their work is in one place, their notebook! I have used notebooks in my science classes for many years and I have not found anything easier for students to use to learn and study about science!
