it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many schools are moving towards having class work be online. We use computers a lot in my classroom, and computer literacy is very important for future success. We are lucky that the district provides a laptop for every student. However, we can't abandon paper and pencil!
One of the best ways to learn new information is to write it down on paper so you can review it again later.
Loose leaf paper gets lost (it's right there in the name!). Each of my kids needs a composition notebook for our daily assignments, so they can use to review the entire year's assignments in one easy location. I also want them to have a cute little notebook for academic vocabulary. This notebook can live in the front of their composition notebook in the clear photo sleeve, so it is ready all the time. Many students choose to keep their notebook as a memory of the year, and maybe even keep it as they go into high school.
Having these notebooks ready at the beginning of the year allows my students to start strong. Your help means we will be ready to hit the ground running and get college ready.
