Not Boring Books

Help me give my students high interest young adult books and middle school books.

FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Baran's classroom raised $520

This project is fully funded

My Project

I am requesting high interest young adult books and middle school books. Books transport us to other places. They provide us with unique perspectives, adventures and they teach us. Your donation will allow my students to have access to high interest books, many of which are YA. Encouraging young people to read can be challenging. Your donation supports engagement in reading.

Students need access to books that interest them and have characters that represent them.

Books like America Is Under Attack: September 11, 2001: The Day the Towers Fell, You Bet Your Heart, and Your Plantation Prom Is Not Ok, are just some of the titles that my students would be interested in reading. The wide variety of book options will appeal to many different students. Everything from graphic novels, mystery or romance, there is something for everyone. Please help me engage my kids in reading.
