Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This school year we are doing reading academies, which is a college course for teachers to help differentiate instruction in our classrooms. Much of our learning now is through the use of technology. I would like a MacBook computer to take online professional development courses. There are many free online professional development websites available to teachers. Educators can view videos on how to differentiate instruction, because not all students learn the same.We will use this computer for a rotation of literacy and math instruction. We will also use it to display literacy and math games and PowerPoints with songs and music during learning time. It will also support their teacher in logging their data and planning instruction. We will also use the computer for family meetings and display student progress with PowerPoints that include pictures of student work and pictures of them learning in action. This computer will help the students learn and support their teacher with powerful, engaging and motivating lessons with high speed.

Teachers are always willing to learn new ways to help their students!
