My Project

Health Science students will benefit from the hands-on models and games which promote collaboration and teamwork. Many students have learning disabilities and language barriers. These manipulatives will add the hands-on and visual effect that I sometimes need to reinforce the learning process.

These are vital skills to have when working in the healthcare field.

My goal is to see an improvement in test scores after students have used the manipulatives, in addition to the traditional pen and paper and/or computer-based lesson guides.

My students are a unique group with very diverse backgrounds. They are easy to love and to teach.
