This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The 3 sets of table legs that I am hoping to receive will help my students to all have a place in my classroom.
We have gotten 3 beautiful 48in tabletops but no legs to support them.
The 3 tables will create much needed sitting space for my growing class. They are nice and sturdy and can support 5 students each. The tables are the ideal size to create 3 different workstations for my classroom. I teach Special Education at Capitol Hill H.S.. My students in particular will benefit from being able to sit in small groups to work on different learning skills. The tables will also help to create learning centers that students can rotate to. The options the tables will provide makes my classroom much more functional a learning environment.
