This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Read to learn and learn to read is the class motto. My nonreaders strive to achieve success in their academics.

My nonreaders powerfully engage in reading activities with the aid of visual supports.

The visual support provided by Word Problems for nonreaders will enhance their confidence and they will even read aloud before the class.

The " 5 “W’s´fiction and non-fiction Story Cards" provides the support for the learners when they are in small group working on their comprehension skills.

The two $100 Gift Card for Educational Resources on TPT will provide hands-on activities for engagement to also assist their learning. It is a powerful sight to see the students high-five and congratulate each other on their success.

The ultimate vision is to have the students continue to grow in their reading abilities and reading levels. These special students who are Intellectually challenged and on the Autism Spectrum provide smiles and hard work every day.
