This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have been gradually building my classroom library for my 3rd grade students. We all want our kids to have access to books that are both interesting and at their level. As of now, my library is lacking. This is an opportunity to put exciting books at kids' fingertips.
These nonfiction texts will surely be engaging as well as informative and inviting.
Nonfiction texts can be incredibly exciting, but can also be less common in the classroom library. This is an attempt to remedy that. Our books here are about history and science, so students can read to learn about these important topics. Hopefully it will be inspiring for our future scientists and decision-makers.
