About my class

My vision is to empower students to reach their full potential and to think critically about the world in which they live. With a focus on inquiry and equity, I have developed strategies to support San Francisco's historically underserved children in their learning. Working at Flynn, I have consistently maintained high expectations for every student and connected curriculum to students' lives. My experience with English language learners, GATE students, and children with IEPs has taught me to adapt where necessary to ensure my learner is meeting the objective. Furthermore, I have worked to build a community of mutual respect among students, families, and educators in order to truly enrich the learning experience. I am wholeheartedly committed to encouraging critical analysis, creativity, and social consciousness. My mission is to give students a voice and create an inspiring place to grow.
