Help me give my students noise cancelling headphones that can be used during the class day to cancel out noises in the hallway or from other classmates for better focus.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Some students have the ability to tune out the distraction of their verbally learning classmates and some students do not. Every student should have the tools they need to help them focus.
Currently all students have access to noise canceling headphones and really appreciate the option of tuning out their classmates on demand.
However, the headphones have seen better times, after eleven years of use they need to retire. These headphones are especially popular during silent reading for students to better focus on the book being read.
All students learn differently, and I want to honor as many as I can. Having enough noise canceling headphones available for each student will have a positive impact on our learning environment.
