Noise Cancelling Headsets for Improved Focus

My Project

My students live an urban school district. Within this district our cluster uses methods of IB International Baccaleureate teaching. The Primary Year Program of the International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. This conceptual teaching provides for increased social interactions and group collaboration. With that being said, there are also opportunities to participate in independent work. During these independent work sessions, the students are easily distracted. I have a few of these headsets, and the students really appreciate the silence they provide. These headsets are extremely useful for this increased focus and work completion.
