I teach at a newly authorized IB school in Akron. The school has recently been rebuilt and had its amazing ribbon cutting ceremony just last week. In recent years, my class size has increased by almost a third. This is exciting for our school. The students I teach are primarily from low income subsidized housing. The students are all on free lunch in our district due to poverty level qualifications. What is beautiful about our school is that, regardless of economic advantage, they are a supportive and caring community. They are also excited at the privilege of our new CLC...community learning center.
