My Project
Many of my special needs students are entering school for the first time. What's more, many of my students have sensory processing issues and are learning to manage the demands of a classroom where teachers are speaking, classmates are asking questions, air filters are running, cars are passing, and peers are walking down the hall for the first time. The bustling environment of our classroom can be too much for some students, and the opportunity to calm down and refocus with noise cancelling headphones would make a tremendous difference.
Please help to furnish my students with noise cancelling headphones to make assessments and independent work seamless and to address the sensory needs of my young learners.
