Help me give my students flexible seating. Aside from flexible seating, these wobble chairs are easy to tuck under a trapezoid table that can double up as an educational game area. Lastly, peer grouping is easy too.

My Students
Imagine being greeted with enthusiasm, hope, bright eyes and open minds on the first day of school. As the year speeds on by, so does their motivation. I am looking to introduce flexible seating to a trapezoid table that will also double up as an educational game area. Due to some weaknesses in their reading skills and resources, I would love to introduce some non-traditional learning. The school is located in a middle class neighborhood, but the funding is an issue. Your support will help provide a reward system in my class to reinforce skills and hard work. Some of my lowest performing students will work harder, stay focused, and have fun learning / reinforcing skills learned throughout he school year. Aside from the journey, your support will help increase their motivation which will , in turn, increase their learning.
My Project
Flexible seating has widely been recognized as a tool to help students who have difficulty with concentrating. However, aside from the obvious it has a plethora of other benefits. Currently our Language Arts classroom has two tables that can be placed together for a group area; however, no chairs.
There awaits an abundance of opportunities in the classroom if these wobble stools were an wonderful addition to our classroom.
First of all, the obvious is an area for small group instruction. In every class, there is a variety of strengths and weaknesses. These stools would allow me to work easier and with less disruption in the classroom by simply having them come to our group table. Also, many times students finish work early or need reinforcement on certain concepts. This is where the fun comes in. Our classroom has educational games such as Figurative Language Jenga, Figurative Language in a Jar, Super Sleuth context clues and many more. These stools would provide an area for students to reinforce pivotal skills needed for comprehension. Lastly, these stools are easy to transfer to any given student desk to provide peer support. There are several other benefits to these lovely wobble chairs.
