Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We all know books can take you places. But imagine if you could REALLY go to those places... Imagine the Library is a spaceship and our students can visit the planets. Or the Library is an ocean liner and our students can journey to far-off lands. Or the Library is a time machine and our students can roam with the dinosaurs. All this, and so much more, is possible with a VR headset.
A VR headset in the library will allow students to take their classroom learning to the next level.
As they learn about cells in biology, they can take a trip inside a cell. As they learn about the birth of democracy in history class, they can journey back in time and across the globe and see for themselves. VR opens up a whole new world of opportunities to satisfy curious minds and inspire reluctant learners!
