This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We have noticed a huge increase in students with sensory needs related to noise this school year. All of my noise cancellation headphones have been checked out to specific students and we have a need for more. They are an essential tool to have available in the school setting.
These headphones will be helpful with students experiencing discomfort in louder environments (i.e.
lunchroom, gymnasium, all-school assemblies, music class, etc). The headphones will allow these students to continue participating in these types of activities without the distress/discomfort that they experience as a result.
