My Project

Like all good teachers, I love my students and I love teaching them. I love seeing their faces light up when they “get it.” Sometimes we get going and are so focused that we don’t realize class is almost over! However, every now and then something interrupts the lesson that requires me to stop and write a pass. Nose bleeds, peer conflict, bathroom needs that just can’t wait - all valid, but they halt the flow of the lesson when I have to stop and remember what day and time it is. Yes, it seems like an easy task, but when you’re in teaching mode and your students are about to make a breakthrough, you’re not thinking about the date and time! It takes me out of the lesson, which takes the students out of it as well. With an automatic date and time stamp machine, all I have to do is sign their pass!
