My Project

Call us Okies and say the words "indoor recess!" The weather in Oklahoma is often unpredictable, leaving my students with indoor recess, sometimes, multiple days per week! My outdoorsy class loves to spend time outside for recess, but they also enjoy the things that we have in our classroom during indoor recess.

My students stand out from others by the simple fact that they enjoy playing together.

They don't typically worry about getting on their devices. My goal for this project is to give my students some new, FUN and engaging things to do on those rainy days when we are not able to visit the playground!

They love to do all things from coloring with markers, crayons, and pencils to playing board games together to relaxing on their own. Some of their favorite things that we have in our classroom are missing pieces, or the pieces are broken. They would be so grateful and thankful for anything new!
