This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Have you ever tried to learn on an empty stomach? As an adult, it can be hard to focus when hungry. As a child, it is almost impossible. I have watched my students come to school and their only meals are the ones the school provides. They are not able to concentrate on school materials because they are hungry.

I want to make sure my students that my students academic and physical needs are met.

This project will allow my students to have a snack during school to keep them alert and focused during class. This will help them to not be hungry so they will be able to maintain focus more in the classroom during instruction. This will allow them to perform better academically as their physical needs are being met.
