Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our school serves about 1,700 9th-12th grade students. More than half of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. My students are true millennials who love relaxed settings and technology. I usually teach about 90 students where roughly 20% have mild learning disabilities and often struggle in the general classroom setting. They often come to my class with a mindset of defeat and do not like math. Every year my goal is to create a fun and comfortable learning space so they are successful in the course.

My Project

Teachers Pay Teachers is a phenomenal website where teachers can buy interactive lessons. There are veteran teachers who have been in the classroom for decades, and have created outstanding lessons. As a teacher, I often spend tons of money to buy theses lessons to save time.

There is no need to reinvent the wheel and spend hours on creating innovative lessons.

Help me save hours, and buy some of the awesome lessons already created by my fellow educators. This library of resources includes thousands of interactive lessons that any student would benefit from.
