No Place Like Outdoors

Help me give my students lap desks that they can use in an outdoor learning environment. These will allow my students work efficiently as we implement more lessons outside.

My Students

I have a class of 20 amazing 5th grade students this year. We are an active bunch and enjoy learning in multiple settings, both indoors and outside.

My students love learning, and enjoy implementing many different strategies to achieve our learning goals.

I cannot wait to guide my students and see what they can achieve this year!

My Project

As we cope with the difficulties of keeping our students healthy during a pandemic, I am looking to teach my students outside more this year; limiting their chances of spreading germs to on another in a small classroom.

Engaging in lessons outside used to seem like more trouble than it was worth.

However, my students' learning will benefit greatly by having lap desks to work on. With these desks my students will be able to have their own space to work with their computers or paper and pencil assignments, while enjoying some fresh air.
