This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Gross motor time is one of our favorite parts of the routine. Our students love to run, slide and dance, while enjoying and learning about the weather. I want to provide my students with new material to challenge their physical abilities. The new parachute, hoops, wagon, helmet, will help out students to take turns, while sharing and developing hand eye coordination and large muscles. And the new speaker will enhance the audio of the music we dance to outside.
Spending time outdoors in the early years directly affects students' physical strength, coordination, and even the development of their immune system.
I notice that students get less sick when the physical activity is integrated daily. Better outdoor experiences will make a huge difference in our bodies and minds.
